Gully Cover Seal.

“In 30 years of working in the utility industry this is the best product I have seen to eliminate the possibility of contaminating watercourses.”

Engineering Plastic Supplies Ltd - Gully Cover Seal

The drain cover seal is designed to seal drains when there is potential for an environmental incident. By sealing the drain off it will allow time to deal with accidental spillage or the removal of site spoil before it can enter a water course.

The Application.

The Gully Cover Seal has been designed to reduce the potential for pollution events. It is very easy to install and can be fixed in place in less than one minute.

If there was accidental spillage or a flooding incident that could cause an environmental incident, or circumstances where spoil is deposited in close proximity to gullies with a possibility of contamination to a water course, then the drain cover should be used.

The process of installation is:

1.        Place the cover over the gully.

2.        Move the locking bar into the closed position.

3.        Use a 13mm socket to tighten the bolt until rubber compresses to                       form a seal on the carriage way.

The drain is now sealed and safe from the potential ingress of contaminants into a watercourse.
